What We Do

Founder Nancy Fitzgerald, CPDT-KSA, CBCC-KA, PMCT-2, has spent years studying dog behavior, via seminars, internships and training courses.  She has completed several intern academies with nationally-recognized trainer Pat Miller and has earned a Pat Miller Certified Trainer 2 (PMCT-2) designation. Nancy has also been certified as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer since 2005. She sucessfully completed the new hands-on skills examination portion put forward by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers at its first offering in September 2011, thereby earning the new CPDT-KSA designation (Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge and Skills Assessed).  Nancy's most recent accomplishment was passing the Certification Examination for Behavior Consultants - Canine - Knowledge Assessed. Nancy has also had the privilege of working with hundreds of shelter dogs over the past fourteen (14) years at Delaware Humane Association and is immensely indebted to the dogs themselves and what they have taught her.  Nancy is pleased to offer the following services to northern Delaware and surrounding areas:

• Group training classes for adult dogs and puppies
• In-home training for dogs of all ages
• Behavior modification
• Coaching for owners of reactive dogs
• Personalized and/or private instruction
• Pre-adoption and pet selection counseling
